Product Care Guide

At Archi, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, handcrafted and thoughtfully designed products. To keep your items looking their best, it’s important to care for them properly. Below, you’ll find care instructions for products in our collections:

Polymer Clay Jewelry & Charms

Our polymer clay charms and jewelry are delicate pieces that are protected with a resin coating to enhance durability and shine. However, they still require gentle care to maintain their beauty:

  • Avoid Direct Contact with Water: While the resin offers some protection, it’s best to keep polymer clay and resin jewelry away from water. Remove them before swimming, showering, or exercising.
  • Store Safely: Store your polymer clay items in a cool, dry place, preferably in a soft pouch or jewelry box that is not in direct sunlight. Keeping them away from sharp objects will prevent scratching to the resin surface.
  • Handle with Care: Resin can be durable, but avoid dropping or knocking the pieces against hard surfaces to prevent cracking.
  • Clean Gently: To clean polymer clay and resin jewelry, simply use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleaners as they may affect the resin coating.

Gold-Filled Jewelry

Gold-filled jewelry is a great option for beautiful, long-lasting pieces that are more affordable than solid gold. To keep your gold-filled necklaces and bracelets shining bright:

  • Avoid Exposure to Chemicals: Perfumes, lotions, and household cleaning agents can cause gold-filled jewelry to tarnish over time. Make sure to apply beauty products before putting on your jewelry.
  • Store Properly: When not wearing your gold-filled pieces, store them in a jewelry box or pouch to prevent scratches and exposure to air, which can speed up tarnishing.
  • Keep Away from Water: Although gold-filled jewelry is more durable than gold plating, it’s still best to remove it before swimming or showering.
  • Polish Regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently polish your gold-filled jewelry and maintain its shine. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.

Stone Bracelets

  • Avoid Water and Chemicals: While natural stones can tolerate some moisture, avoid submerging them in water or exposing them to chemicals like cleaning products, which could dull their shine or weaken the elastic cord.
  • Gentle Cleaning: To clean, wipe the stones with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or cleaners that could damage the stones or elastic band.
  • Store Safely: Keep your bracelet stored in a pouch or jewelry box when not in use to prevent scratches or damage.

Scarves & Accessories

Our scarves and other fabric accessories should be handled with care to maintain their softness and vibrancy.

  • Hand Wash or Gentle Cycle: For best results, hand wash your scarves in cold water using mild detergent, or use the gentle cycle on your washing machine.
  • Air Dry: Always air dry your scarves by laying them flat or hanging them. Avoid the dryer, as heat can damage the fabric and cause shrinking.
  • Store Neatly: To prevent wrinkles, store your scarves by hanging them or folding them neatly in a drawer.

Bamboo Hair Brushes & Dry Brushes

  • Keep Dry: Bamboo is a natural material that can warp if left in damp environments for long periods. Make sure to keep your brushes in a dry place when not in use.
  • Cleaning Your Brush: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the bamboo handle. For the bristles, gently remove hair and dust after each use. If needed, use warm water and mild soap to clean the bristles, then let the brush air dry completely before using again.
  • Avoid Soaking: Don’t soak the bamboo handle in water, as it can cause the wood to weaken or crack.

General Tips for All Products

  • Rotate Your Jewelry: Give your pieces a rest by rotating the items you wear. This helps reduce wear and tear on your favorite accessories.
  • Store Separately: To avoid scratching and tangling, store your jewelry and accessories separately. Soft pouches or divided jewelry boxes are ideal.

Taking good care of your Archi pieces will help them last longer and retain their beauty. For any additional questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at hello@shoparchi.com.
