A Letter from My Heart: The Journey Behind Archi
Oh how I've missed all of you. As I sit down to write this, I’m overwhelmed with emotions — gratitude, vulnerability but more importantly, hope. Launching Archi has been my biggest dream, but this 'plan' hasn't been going as planned for me.
When I first launched Archi, I had so many big visions and dreams. I imagined showing up to all of you with consistent updates, sharing the beauty of my products and creating a space where you’d feel excited to shop and connect with me on a personal level. But, life had other plans for me. If you read my first blog post, you know that I had surgery in January for stage 4 endometriosis in hopes to improve my symptoms and slow the regrowth. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case as it has grown back to stage 3 spreading to my ligaments and other parts of my body.
Everyday has been a battle for me in various ways. My symptoms have been quite challenging and constant that some days, just getting out of bed feels like a win. I’ve been told that it's ‘urgent’ and should be a priority to freeze my eggs in hopes of having a family of my own someday. Balancing the physical toll, weekly doctor appointments and symptoms — It's been a lot.
Aside from my health, I have had some fun moments when I feel good so I thought I'd share a few! Archie turned 4, Brad and I went to Napa for a wine tour and it was one of the most incredible and relaxing trips I've ever had, my friend Megan and I had a girls day in Grand Rapids during Thanksgiving, went on a casino adventure with my siblings, lots of sick day Archie snuggles and attended a University of South Carolina game with Brad and his family!
So with all of these life updates I have some exciting news to share with all of you!! I’m so excited (and honestly, quite emotional) to share that this week, I will be posting as many products as my human self can. I have a lot of one of a kind pieces that I feel are something special.
Every product represents love, passion and countless hours of creating each piece, organizing inventory in every space in our condo and preparing to take on life with this business whether I am sick or not. Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way — it’s all part of this beautiful, messy journey and I am truly so proud of myself for getting to this point.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a loved one, I hope you find something that feels like it was made just for you. These new pieces aren't just about selling a product — it’s about resilience, creativity, and the belief that even in the hardest seasons of life, we can find beauty and joy.
If you’re able to support Archi this holiday season — whether it’s through shopping my new products, sharing it with friends or simply cheering me on — it would mean the world to me. Small businesses like mine thrive because of incredible people like you. I will have themed gift boxes (self care, plant lover, girly girl box, etc) in the near future as well. I will update you all on new products as I get them listed!
Thank you for believing in me, for sticking with me and for seeing the heart behind my business. This has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but your kindness and encouragement remind me why I keep going. With so much love and gratitude — Xoxxo, Whitney
I want to hear from you!
